In this critical role, you will provide administrative support to the Director of Transitional Housing Programs while helping ensure program operations, reporting, and services are delivered efficiently and effectively.If you are passionate about supporting those who have served our country and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoAdministrative SupportManage calendars, schedules, and appointmentsPrepare correspondence, reports, and meeting materialsAnswer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiriesCoordinate meetings and maintain administrative recordsGrant & Compliance SupportAssist with grant applications, reports, and documentationMaintain accurate files related to VA and grant complianceTrack reporting deadlines and ensure timely submissionsSupport audit preparation and compliance activitiesData & ReportingEnter, track, and maintain program dataAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reportingMaintain confidential veteran participant recordsSupport program performance tracking and outcome measurementProgram OperationsCoordinate communication between staff, veterans, and community partnersOrganize staff meetings, training sessions, and veteran eventsAssist with purchasing, invoice tracking, and budget documentationProvide general office support and administrative assistanceQualificationsRequiredAssociate degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceThree to five years of administrative support experienceStrong Microsoft Office skillsExcellent organizational and time-management abilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationAbility to pass a criminal background check related to the positionPreferredExperience supporting grant-funded programsExperience with compliance documentation and reportingProject coordination experienceExperience working with diverse populations or nonprofit organizationsWhat We're Looking ForExceptional attention to detailStrong multitasking and prioritization skillsPositive, professional, and service-oriented attitudeAbility to work independently and collaborativelyCommitment to integrity, respect, and service to veteransWork EnvironmentThis position is based in a group living and office environment serving veterans.
