This position involves designing, implementing, and overseeing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, ensuring data integrity, and supporting data warehousing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in SQL Server, SSIS, Oracle, and related technologies, with a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset to support the organization’s data-driven decision-making. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including EIM, EDW, and IT, to ensure seamless data integration, quality, and security across healthcare systems.QualificationsCandidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. A minimum of four years of experience in systems analysis, particularly within healthcare data environments, is essential. Experience with healthcare information systems, data warehousing, and ETL processes is highly preferred. Technical proficiency in SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Oracle, and related database management tools is required. Familiarity with data masking, data quality management, OLTP, OLAP, and system interfaces will be advantageous. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills are necessary to effectively interpret complex technical requirements and collaborate with diverse teams. Certifications in relevant technologies or healthcare data management are a plus.ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and implementation of ETL processes to support web applications and automation initiatives, ensuring efficient data flow and integrity.Design and develop SSIS packages used in extracting, transforming, and loading data across various healthcare systems and databases.Support production environments by monitoring ETL jobs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely data processing.Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of SQL Server, SSIS, Oracle, and Analysis Services to optimize data workflows and reporting.Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) teams to retire legacy systems and facilitate data migration to new platforms.Source and integrate data from HIE and EDW systems to support web applications, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.Maintain detailed data lineage documentation for all ETL processes, supporting audit and compliance requirements.Design and implement data archiving solutions to manage historical web application data securely and efficiently.Coordinate with the EDI team to centralize ETL jobs using ActiveBatch, promoting automation and process standardization.Work with IT and business stakeholders to resolve data issues, improve process efficiency, and ensure data quality standards are met.Leverage technical expertise to make informed decisions in the absence of managerial oversight, ensuring project continuity and quality.Train new staff on web application processes, ETL architecture, data standards, and documentation practices to foster team development.Oversee coordination of development, testing, and production environments to ensure smooth deployment and operation of data processes.BenefitsPartnership HealthPlan of California offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employee well-being and professional growth.
