Warehouse Specialist-Internal Applications Only
Position Summary:The Warehouse Specialist will be reliable and demonstrate basic skills to perform routine tasks. The Specialist will flex within different areas of the warehouse departments and work with Warehouse Management to execute inventory goals and needs. This person must be self-motivated, and hard-working.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Meet all responsibilities of a Shipping AssociateServe as a subject matter expert and certified trainer for Movements, TXO In/Out, Replenishment, Forklift, and; serve as primary point of contact for system and process related questionsOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods safely and efficiently within the warehouse.Accountable for being trained and proactively working 1 additional assigned shipping function and 1 assigned inventory function, as directed by the warehouse leadership teamIntermediate NAV functionCapable of collaborating with the shipping and inventory teams to delegate team members for needed initiativesMotivated and excited to train others in certified trainer functionsProcess all returns and follow return protocolWork collaboratively with the warehouse team as a whole to support efficiency initiatives and cross departmental trainingProactively take initiative to drive and contribute to continuous improvement projects in various warehouse processesShowcase conduct aligned with a respectful work environment to both peers and supervisorsCommunicate effectively to ensure effective working relationships with peers and supervisorsMaintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work areaChampion a culture of safetyPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:High School Diploma or GED equivalent1-2 years' experience working in a warehouse environment1-2 years' experience working with a warehouse management systemIntermediate Microsoft NAV competencyStrong attention to detailExcellent collaboration and professionalismStrong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsPositive attitude and strong work ethicStrong planning, time management, and organizational skills,Proficient with Microsoft Office 365Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to pick up and lift up objects, sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, and twist.
