Position Summary: Ajax/CECO/Erie Press is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assembler to join our team. The Assembler will be responsible for ensuring proper assembly and craftsmanship. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles, and the ability to read technical diagrams and schematics. Job Duties - Welding various brackets - Heavy mechanical assembly & disassembly requiring the use of overhead cranes up to 40 tons. - Operate forklift, scissor lift, boom lifts - Use of hand tools - Cleaning and packaging -Work in a team environment or independently on projects - Up to 10%-15% travel annually, in 2-week periods What you need to be successful: - High school diploma or equivalent -Valid Driver’s License - Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting with at least two of the following skill: mechanical assembly, hydraulics, welding, pipefitting. Preferred Qualifications: - 1+ years of experience with Welding - Associate’s degree or technical certification in relevant industry *Other duties as assigned. * Ajax/CECO/Erie Press is an equal opportunity employer.
