Project Manager, Facilities
The City of Overland Park has a full-time 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿, 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 position available in the Facilities Management and Operations Division within the City Manager's Office.𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆:Responsible for the project development and management of various facilities projects and maintenance agreements. Develops project scope, schedule, cost and quality throughout the lifecycle of the project, involving relevant stakeholders and facility users. Utilizing project management standard methodology; creates, adjusts and executes project work plans, identifies required resources and manages operational aspects of the project from ideation to implementation. Creates and updates project status reports and maintains the Facilities Management & Operation portfolio.𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 & 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗘(𝗦)/𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field of study; or an equivalent combination of formal education and work experience. • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. • Possession of an appropriate, valid driver's license. • Must maintain an insurable driving record. • Access to the Kansas Criminal Justice Information System (KCJIS) is required, so the following KCJIS requirements apply: must be at least 18 years of age; must not have been convicted of a felony; must not have been convicted of a serious misdemeanor; and must not have an arrest history the nature and severity of which warrant disqualification.𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘: • A minimum of five years of increasingly responsible project management experience in the areas of facilities construction and maintenance, or an equivalent level of experience in a related field.𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬 (𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 & 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁): • Indirect: Contract Specialist, Manager - Facilities Management, Crew Leader - Facilities, Administrative Assistant - FacilitiesNo City residency requirement.Must successfully pass a background check, drug screen, physical exam and essential functions test.Normal Work Hours: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Mon.-Fri.Salary Range: Grade K, $102,115.51 - $142,960.85Application Deadline: Open until filledBenefits: Full-timeAll applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and proof of eligibility must be provided if selected for hire.EO/M/F/D/V
