.NET/C# Developer 5+ year exp (TN only; Remote)

This is a remote job but you must live in Tennessee. Optu Consulting is a fast growing application development firm in Nashville, TN. We develop custom web, mobile and desktop applications, and business analytics for our customers. We are seeking a full-time developer to join our team to develop custom applications for clients using C#/.Net and Microsoft SQL. The successful applicant will participate in the full life-cycle duties. This includes the design, development, testing, documentation, installation, and support of the applications. *Essential Job Functions Develop and maintain custom applications for our clients. Full application development: design, code, test, document, and installation. Position could require periodic on call after normal working hours support of applications. Design and improve the user experience. Assist in sales process either remotely or on site as required. Implementing and maintaining formal coding processes, documentation, and standards. Coordinate application updates and changes through all teams and customers. Work and communicate with team members to develop new solutions from design and coding through to installation and implementation. Confers with supervisor and team members representing area to resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements and inclusion of internal checks and controls. *Education and Experience 5+ years’ experience developing custom web applications using: MVC .NET Framework and .NET Core C# programming Entity Framework / ADO.NET Version Control (TFS, GIT) Microsoft SQL: TSQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Views HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, JSON, XML, Vue.js Windows Services and Console Apps Visual Studio Additional skills necessary: Experience gathering requirements and creating specs for development Ability to analyze and formulate a plan, using structured analysis and design Experience in an organization with distributed locations Excellent communication skills Additional qualifications not required, but are a plus: Microsoft SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) DevExpress Mission critical healthcare applications SharePoint Microsoft Certifications Xamarin or other mobile application development Salesforce Azure / AWS Blazor Job Type: Full-time Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Monday to Friday Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: C#: 5 years (Required) .NET: 5 years (Required) MSSQL: 5 years (Required) Location: Tennessee (Required) Work Location: Remote
