Business Analyst

Job OpportunityLocation: Chicago (hybrid position). We need the person to go to the office a few days a month. Terms: CTH or Fulltime role.Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.The Business Analyst will work as part of a team to elicit requirements by reviewing documentation, interviewing stakeholders, leading current vs. future state work-sessions and documenting findings. Additionally, the Business Analyst will participate in system design and QA testing as required.This role requires a “self-starter” with strong analytical skills; the ability to work independently as well as within a team; good client presence and strong communication skills.Conceptual and analytical thinker with the ability to define business requirements and extract, analyze, and synthesize complex business insightsAbility to interview stakeholders to understand technology needsAbility to drive out technical requirements with business and IT stakeholders for implementations of solutionsHands-on experience with Agile delivery methodologyExperience with use case buildoutExperience with current vs. future state technology definitionDemonstrated ability in effectively engaging, communicating, and presenting to stakeholders across both business and technology functionsAbility to perform knowledge transfer to support a teamMust-Have SkillsExperience with Databricks and MSSQL data querying skills.Strong business acumen and a passion for solving problems with data-driven solutionsClient centric focus with strong relationship skills and the ability to influence business decisions5+ years of experience in business analysis.Excellent client presenceExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience at a consulting firm a plus.Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.Willingness to travel to client sites as neededChicago area candidates preferred
