DescriptionThe Sr. Physician and Field Trainer will act and serve as the liaison to the field and new hires in all EBR disciplines. Listed as, but not limited to, physician relations and training, product training, medical education, global field training, clinical research, and upstream product development. Working with the Manager, Training and Educational Operations on commercial training strategy objectives as defined by Director, Training & Education.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesField Clinical Activity ExpertEnsures that the first case customer experience at US sites is optimized by implementing best practices and minimizing the risk of sub-optimal outcomes.Provides support for complex clinical procedures or activities as needed.Delivers presentations during commercial meetings, acting as WiSE subject matter expert.Field and New Hire TrainingActs as spokesperson for procedural expertise and provides updated best practice in the US and globally.Develops therapy and device operational knowledge and applies this knowledge to processes and initiatives in the support of procedural excellence.Serves as the US expert and functions as the US lead for field training, best practice and new hire training under the direct supervision of the Training Management.Collaborates with the entire Training & Education Team to roll out new product training initiatives, trouble shooting, and tricks and tips of implant technique.The field point person for new hire training, responsible for the depth and consistency of all new field employees within the US and possible global as it pertains to field operations.Arrange and lead case observation and eventually leading new hire to lead case.Conduct case reviews, final mock exams, final mock oral exam with new hire prior to final sign off and field certifications.Physician TrainingPlans, coordinates, and conducts off-site and on-site Physician training including fellows.Formally presents product training material and best practice implant technique.Serve as an expert proctor to physician during implants of the T&B and Electrode along with the local EBR staff.Other Duties And ResponsibilitiesTravel approximately 70% of the time to oversee training courses, maintain consistent and frequent contact with faculty, and attend critical industry meetings.Other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsBachelor’s level degree or higher in medical field.Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Physician, Nurse, PA, or Specialist in a Clinical Electrophysiology Lab.Strong working knowledge of company technology and ability to proctor physicians in an EP setting.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Excellent organizational skills and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic start-up environment.Attention to detail and organizational capabilities to manage training documentation in a compliant manner.Strong relationship management with field team members and clinical partners.Must have the ability to articulate technical information in a clear and concise manner, both in written and verbal form.Must have the skill set required to take leadership role in a training situation.Must be able to meet hospital credentialing requirements.Required Physical RequirementsAbility and willingness to travel up to 70% of the time to deliver trainings, including overnight, domestic, and international travel.Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.Required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 20 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.Subject to extended periods of sitting and/or standing, vision to monitor, and moderate noise levels.Compensation$140,700 - $190,400*Base pay is one part of your total compensation. The salary offered will depend on several factors, including, but not limited to your experience, knowledge, skills, location, internal equity, and market alignment.
