The organization is committed to creating a compassionate and supportive environment for those in need. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Philanthropy located in Winston-Salem, NC. The Director of Philanthropy will oversee the development and implementation of philanthropic strategies to ensure sustainable funding for the organization's mission. Responsibilities include managing planned giving and annual giving programs, conducting prospect research, fostering stewardship efforts, and building strong relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders. Qualifications Proficiency in Planned Giving and experience designing and executing plans to secure long-term support.Comprehensive knowledge of Philanthropy and Annual Giving, with a proven track record of achieving funding goals.Strong skills in Prospect Research to identify and cultivate potential donors.Experience in Stewardship, including developing donor relationships and ensuring appropriate acknowledgment and engagement.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Ability to create and implement fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and community stakeholders.Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Fundraising, or a related field; advanced degree or certification in Fundraising or Nonprofit Leadership is a plus.Experience in a nonprofit setting, particularly in fundraising and donor relations, is highly desirable.
