Pediatric dental assistant

Job Description About the Role: Join our passionate team at Montebello Children's Dentistry as a Pediatric Dental Assistant! In this role, you will help create a positive and engaging dental experience for children while supporting our dedicated dental professionals. If you love working with kids and want to make a difference in their dental health, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during pediatric procedures and examinations.Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.Educate children and their parents on proper dental hygiene practices.Manage patient records .Ensure the dental office is clean, organized, and welcoming.Provide compassionate support to children to ease their dental anxiety.Maintain inventory of dental supplies and reorder as necessary.Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.Experience in pediatric dentistry or dental assisting is a plus.Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor with children.Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and sterilization techniques.Current CPR and First Aid certification.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Positive attitude and a passion for helping children.Dental software knowledge Eaglesoft and Digital Xray NomadAbout Us: Montebello Children's Dentistry has been serving community for over 10 years, providing top-notch dental care tailored for children.
