The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for software development, microservices implementation, programming in Java using the Spring Framework. The role will involve utilizing Java to create innovative solutions and contribute to the company's agile DevOps practices.Tasks and DeliverablesReview functional requirements, Create technical design documentsTransform software designs and specifications into secure, high functioning code in Java and document solutions Integrate individual software solutions to applicable systemsTest code periodically to ensure it produces the desirable results and perform debugging when necessaryPerform upgrades to make software and systems more secure and efficientCommunicate and incorporate business owner's visions, business plans, and key objectives Provide development and related operations, maintenance, and production support Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldTen (10) years' experience in Java Programming/Development roleFive (5) years' experience developing in Java using Spring MVCFour (4) years' experience working with state government health insurance systems on its' insurance benefit enrollments Two (2) years' IBM integration Bus (IIB) or ACE (App Connect Enterprise) experienceDesired SkillsFour (4)years' working with state agency ACA health care systems including creation of and transmission of ACA related tax information to IRS and annual tax forms to consumers with one (1) engagement lasting at least one (1) yearThree (3) years' StreamEDSOne (1) year Drools experienceFive (5) years' in WebSphere application server, JPA/Hibernate, Maven, XMLJunit, Jquery, AJax, Java Script, Spring Boot, SOAP/REST Web services, and Oracle PL-SQL
