This position involves providing therapy services in a 450-bed hospital. The hospital has a census of approximately 360 patients. The team consists of 8-10 Physical Therapists and 6-8 Physical Therapist Assistants per day. Collaborative work with Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy teams is required. Therapists will manage a variety of patient diagnoses including orthopedic, neurological, and oncology cases. Experience with diverse patient populations across multiple floors is essential. Ideal candidates will have familiarity with acute care practices. A strong understanding of treatment protocols for post-operative patients is preferred. Therapists must demonstrate effective communication and time management skills. A commitment to patient-centered care is required.
