Key ResponsibilitiesSupervises a team on both Patrick Spvaace Force Base (SFB) FL to coordinate sparing levels and inventory usage across both eastern and western ranges, assuring access to space for government and commercial space launch providers. Assist in the management of the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC) Inventory Control Points (ICP) for both Launch Test Range System (LTRS) National Stock Numbered (NSN) and Non-Stock Listed (NSL) spares for the Wholesale inventoryAt a minimum gain access to execute various Department of War (DoW) applications to include Basing & Logistics analytics Data Environment (BLADE), CSWS Data Exchange/D375, Foundational Logistics Information Technology Enterprise System (FLITES), Web Federal Logistics Information System (WEBFLIS), Web Supply Discrepancy Reporting (WEBSDR), ILS-S, ELMS, and modules within the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE). Catalog spares new stock numbers for contract’s modernization projectsImplement and maintain a Property Management System (PMS) – Maximo capable of interfacing with Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS) and Integrated Logistics System-Supply (ILS-S) through the Defense Logistics Agency’s (DLA) Defense Automatic Addressing System (DAAS) using Defense Logistics Management Standards (DLMS) and Milstrip (MILS) transaction processing. Ensure company complies with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and DoW Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) requirements by monitoring ICP metrics, backorders and submits reports to management and Space Force customers. Implement Unique Identifier (UID) requirements and in-transit visibility and serial Number Tracking (SNT) on all Wholesale sparesCreate Purchase Requisitions for the increase of the Interim Supply Support (ISS) spares due to increased failure rates or long lead times on repairs/procurementsTrack ICP spares through the repair process to maintain serviceable assets at the established levels and eliminate backordersFulfill Base Supply requisitions for the ICP to replenish Retail supply levels by processing requisitions in accordance with Air Force Base Supply procedures, FAR 45-5, DAFM 23-300 and commercial business practicesIdentify Legacy assets with no Logistics Management Information and perform research to gather information and assign assets under the LTRS ICPCollect and analyze data to identify and reduce excess inventory or increase allowances for all LTRS assetsCreate standard and ADHOC reports for management FLITE, Maximo and other systems as required for metric generation, perform analysis, monitor, identify, and forecast workload and resources. Initiate Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) cases to find alternative solutions and identify new cases to the DMSMS groupExpedite material for special programs, maintenance, or production shopsConduct cataloging actions, logistics reassignment processes, configuration management, and ensure the proper packaging, handling, storage, and transportation (PHS&T) of all componentsPerform all duties as assignedMinimum Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain, Business or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of five (5) years’ experience with logistics/supply, education or training, which demonstrates a thorough knowledge of inventory management and analysisAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelWorking knowledge of DoD and Government supply systems, program planning, funding policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals or other established guidelines, preferredExperience with MAXIMO and/or similar supply management system, preferredThree years’ experience with logistics/supply, education or training, which demonstrates a thorough knowledge of inventory management and analysis, preferredTechnical background or understanding of Range Systems, preferredWorking knowledge of current and legacy Supply Regulations: AFMAN23-122 , AFI 23-101, AF123-123, DAFM 23-300 preferredPractical knowledge of the characteristics, properties, uses, and maintenance programs of specialized equipment, including proper demilitarization and disposal protocols. Strong written and oral communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data, to establish the facts, and to take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelinesStrong ability to develop new processes and metrics using Microsoft Office programsAdditional Eligibility QualificationsThe flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements. Occasional travel between both ranges and conferences may be required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship.
