Job Title: Labor & Employment AttorneyLocation: Remote across California (offices in every major CA metropolitan)Salary: Up to $300K base + Bonuses**Open to considering CA barred Attorneys residing in other states across the country**Job Summary:Our client is a preeminent Southern California law firm focusing exclusively on representing employers in labor and employment matters. With decades of experience, they counsel and defend management in all areas of employment law, delivering practical, strategic, and business-oriented legal solutions.Key Responsibilities:Defend employers in employment litigation, including single-plaintiff, class action, and PAGA matters in state and federal courtsRepresent clients in administrative proceedings (e.g., DFEH/CRD, EEOC, DLSE)Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discoveryAdvise clients on day-to-day employment law issues including wage & hour, discipline, leave laws, and workplace policiesDraft and revise employee handbooks, policies, and employment agreementsParticipate in mediations, depositions, and trial preparationSupport partners and collaborate with the team on complex cases and client counselingQualifications:J.D. from an accredited law schoolActive member in good standing with the California State Bar2+ years of labor & employment defense experience (plaintiff-side experience will be considered if transitioning to defense)Experience with wage & hour litigation, PAGA claims, and discrimination/harassment casesSalary and Other Compensation:The salary for this position is between $140,000 – $300,000 annually.
