CDL Class A Driver

About us: General Packaging Corporation, a leading regional packaging manufacturer, is seeking a full-time CDL driver for local deliveries. GPC operates a plant in Dallas, TX and serves customers in the DFW metro area and surrounding cities. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for in-town driving with very competitive pay. Type of deliveries: Loads carried in enclosed van trailer or a flat bed requiring driver to strap (no tarp) the load Job Duties: Operate a tractor or bobtail safely and efficiently Deliver product to local customers in the greater Houston Metroplex Strap and secure loads to a flatbed trailer Maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude Keep up with ELD (electronic logging device) Requirements: Minimum of 2 years driving experience preferred (and verifiable) Must be able to speak, read and write English Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL)- CLASS A Must pass background check No serious or disqualifying traffic violations in the last 5 years Must have valid and active medical card Friendly and dependable If you qualify and pass all requirements, please apply & submit your resume.
