Job DetailsDescriptionJOB TITLE: Transportation Systems AnalystDEPARTMENT: TransportationGRADE: 9FLSA: Exempt $75,000EFFECTIVE DATE: 8/2025WORKING CONDITIONS: Onsite, in-office 5 days a week, M-F.Position is not routinely exposed to adverse environmental conditions; typical office environment.REPORTS TO: Mgr Business AdminDIRECT REPORTS: n/aPosition SummaryThe Transportation Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing, maintaining and optimizing the Transportation Management systems. Focusing on improving efficiency, reducing cost and enhancing visibility across the transportation network. Help Desk Support: Respond to and resolve transportation-related help desk tickets submitted through the help desk ticket system User Management: Set up and maintain users across all operational software platforms and customer portals EDI Administration: Collaborate with software providers and other EDI partners to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot EDI connections Data Integrity Oversight: Enforce data accuracy across system master files Training & Enablement: Train internal users on operational software and external customers on portal usage Vendor Coordination: Act as primary contact for external technology vendors regarding training, updates, and troubleshooting. Reporting Interface: Utilize PowerBI to create dashboards and reports to assist operations teams and leadership. When needed, liaise between operations and IT to support custom reporting needs for internal teams and customers. Technology Development: Collaborate with IT and operations on future development of the customer portal and other technology platforms. Bid Support: Assist in collecting and uploading rates to bid portals for national transportation bids. Tech Evaluation: Partner with operations leadership to assess and recommend new technologies. Project Implementation: Work with internal and external project managers to implement, onboard, and configure new systems. Provide support to all areas of Transportation Assist in special projects or research assignments as directed by leadership Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of experience in transportation systems, logistics technology, or IT support Familiarity with McLeod Software, EDI protocols, and customer portal platforms Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and training abilities Experience with Jira or similar ticketing systems Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate cross-functionally
