ApplyJob TypeFull-timeDescriptionAs a Welder you will safely support fabrication and production operations by performing basic welding, fitting, grinding, and metal preparation tasks under the direction of experienced welders or supervisors. This role is responsible for maintaining quality standards, following safety procedures, and assisting in the assembly and repair of metal components and structures. With a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn welding techniques and fabrication processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will weld components by studying blueprints, determining equipment requirements, and performing welding to meet production deadlines. If you're excited to join the team and grow with us, we want to hear from you!What you'll doPerform MIG, TIG, or laser welding on metal componentsRead and follow drawings, and work instructionsMeasure and fit materials for weldingInspect finished welds for quality and accuracyPerform simple repetitive tasks using bolts, screws, clips, hand tools, and other fastening devicesRemove excess weld imperfectionsOperate hand tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment safelyMaintain a clean, organized work area in alignment with LEAN and 5S principlesCollaborating with leads and supervisors to meet daily production goals while communicating quality or safety concernsAssist with general shop duties as neededMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishNo welding certifications requiredAbility to safely operate machinery and equipment in accordance with work instructions and safety proceduresAbility to use measuring devices and basic hand toolsCommitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environmentStrong attention to detail and willingness to learnReliable attendance and positive attitudePreferred QualificationsPrevious welding or fabrication experienceBasic understanding of quality requirements and inspection processesPrior work in a sheet metal or fabrication environmentEssential Physical RequirementsAbility to repeatedly lift 25 lbs and lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand and walk for 10 to 12 hour shiftsAbility to bend, reach, and work around large industrial equipmentWork EnvironmentManufacturing and production floor environmentExposure to noise, moving machinery, and metal materialsUse of required protective equipment at all timesMay involve exposure to heat, noise, and sparksBenefitsMedical, Dental, & Vision coveragePaid holidays + PTO401K with company matchTuition reimbursementPaid parental leaveShort-term disabilityLunch provided dailyEmployee discount on partsScheduleMonday - Thursday 5:00am - 3:00pmSalary Description$24.00 - $42.00/hour
