You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.A Day in the LifeThe preferred working location for this role is the Medtronic facility located in Mounds View, Minnesota; however, the individual may also work remotely within the US or onsite at another US-based Medtronic facility.The Service Delivery Manager for System Integration Services and Master Data Management (MDM) is accountable for service delivery of System and Core Data Integration Services and technologies and Master Data Management Service Delivery to ensure operations are running BAU (Business as Usual) and deliver best in class operational services and quality to managed service provider(s). Working with cross-functional teams of business analysts, technical architects, process teams and project managers this role will act as a single point of contact coordinating change and operational support activities; continuous improvement and ensuring current and future service levels are met.We believe that when people from different cultures, genders, and points of view come together, innovation is the result —and everyone wins. Check out the accomplishments of our Women in IT group! http://bit.ly/MedtronicWomeninITCAREERS THAT CHANGE LIVESIf you are an IT professional with a deep understanding of service excellence and process management and governance with a passion for operations optimization, we encourage you to apply and become a key contributor to our organization's service excellence.Deliver world class service excellence to our stakeholders.Managing service providers to agreed upon SLA’sDrive excellence in performance of support vendors and internal teams towards problem resolution.Drive escalations with third party service providers and Medtronic application leads as needed.Track and manage the portfolio of Problem Records, providing reporting and updates to all stakeholders.Optimize processes and provide service excellence to our stakeholders with KPI metrics.Adhere to agreed-upon escalation process to handle issues concerning day-to-day activities.Ensure usage of change and release processes and other requirements by the MSP(s).Hold vendor accountable, monitor and report on efficiency & effectiveness measures included in the vendor solution.Manage projects and enhancement requirements while ensuring alignment to financial commitments.Forecast future work and coordinate with MSP leadership to appropriately staff for future work.Build, execute and manage cost of SOWs for portfolio of projects.Manage and monitor usage of enhancement hours available.Direct onboarding and offboarding for managed service provider staffOversee account creation and deactivation as well as system access.Ensure training compliance.Maintain license compliance.MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)Bachelor’s degree7+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience with an advanced degreeNICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)Strongly Preferred:Previous Medtronic experienceBachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant technical disciplinePrior managerial experienceNeed someone who has a strong technical background in a variety of Technologies, both on the app and Infra stack.Need someone with solid background in owning/driving App/Infra modernization initiatives.Solid background in leading in a Dev Ops Environment, focused on continuous improvement.Need someone with a very strong Product Ownership and/or Technical Project Management background.Self-driven, independent, and strong leader who can deliver extraordinary outcomes from global teams comprising of internal employees, product vendors and third-party service providers.Strong Business Relationship Management, Vendor Management, Negotiation, written and verbal communication skills.Physical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
