Barista

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious coffee and other beverages. Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to company recipes and standards - Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations - Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations - Assist with food preparation and handling as needed - Upsell additional products and promote special offers to customers - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations Qualifications: - Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred - Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and retail transactions - Familiarity with operating a cash register is a plus - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers - Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso equipment is desirable - Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment We offer competitive pay rates and provide training for all new hires.
