The focus will be ensuring product is handled to the customer's standards, reducing errors, and promoting continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesAudit processes to ensure quality standards are being met and procedures are followed.Inspect and repair damaged product.Maintain appropriate records.Conduct refresher training as required.Process out-of-specification material as directed.Effectively work and communicate with others in the organization.Inform QA Supervisor of major and critical defects found during inspections.Verifies action is taken to resolve defects.Participate in location inventories.Other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE Capable of basic math calculationsGeneral knowledge of computersPrevious quality assurance roleHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)AbilitiesAble to lift, stand or walk constantly all shift as neededAble to lift up to 50 poundsAble to read and interpret specifications and drawingsAble to use standard measuring equipmentATTITUDESSelf motivatedMaintains neat/organized work area and documentationStrong attention to detailSaddle Creek is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
