Their experienced professionals work collaboratively to provide engineering services that include Civil, Water/Wastewater, Structural, and Construction Support.They are looking to hire an experienced Civil Engineer to join their team of managers, engineers, and designers, representing the industry's top talent in Orange, CA .Note: Experience with MicroStation InRoads is a mandatory requirement for this position. Candidates without MicroStation InRoads experience will not be considered.Duties and responsibilities:The position performs general civil engineering work under the direct supervision of a project manager for clients the company serves in various markets.The position will apply fundamental engineering training, knowledge, and experience to deliver all tasks and all different project types including engineering studies and site investigation reports; land development designs; preparation of Basis of Design (BOD); preparation of fully designed plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E), and other engineering reports, cost estimates, and construction support. Typical clients served include Municipalities, Dod agencies, private developers, and other public and private organizations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The selected candidate will support the efforts of a Project Manager in team supervision and execution of various projects including:Site Engineering Design associated with buildings and parkingStreet improvement designPavement rehabilitationRough and precise grading plansStorm design and drainage calculationsPotable and reclaimed waterlines designSewer pipe designFlood control improvementsFreeway and interchange improvementsSpecificationsUtility coordinationPermit processingProficiency in MicroStation InRoads is critical for performing these duties.
