Parts Delivery Driver

Job DescriptionPosition ResponsibilitiesEfficiently pick, stage, and deliver automotive parts to professional customers. Handle returns and core pickups. Distribute sales flyers while promoting current promotions and loyalty initiatives. Collect payments from credit accounts on a daily basis. Build lasting relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, sharing insights gained during deliveries. Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to enhance transaction values. Maintain a clean and organized store environment including floors, restrooms, and parking areas. Engage in general stocking tasks such as truck unloading, back stock organization, and cycle counts. Keep abreast of product inventory and new arrivals to facilitate sales support. Interact with walk-in customers to identify their needs and suggest suitable parts or services. Competency in basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in various measurement units. Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends as needed. Confidence in engaging customers and promoting product offerings. Eagerness to learn about new products and sales techniques. Preferred ExperiencePrior automotive parts experience is advantageous. EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required. Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsMust possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Physical DemandsThe employee will primarily engage in walking or standing, with requirements to talk, hear, manipulate objects, reach, climb, and kneel. Frequent lifting and moving of items up to 50 pounds; occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds with assistance is necessary. Vision requirements include close, distance, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
