Web Developer

*MUST BE A US CITIZEN WITH AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE AND SECURITY+ CERT* Perform a variety of software programming, development and integration requirements, including maintenance and modification of existing software, and development of new software, utilizing knowledge of established programming procedures and data processing requirements. *Requirements:*  Evaluate the content, structure, style, organization, and aesthetics of the existing client’s hosted websites  Develop, maintain, and support web-based software applications. Applications are developed in  .NET, C#, ColdFusion, ASP, and SQL. and Oracle  Create and maintain requirements and user documentation for aforementioned software.  Configure and maintain Microsoft IIS application for hosting aforementioned web-based software applications.  Ensure Microsoft IIS and web-based applications adhere to latest STIG, U.S. Army compliance, and web standards.  Utilize an agile methodology for all development efforts to ensure the customer remains fully engaged  Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.  Familiar with code repositories (e.g. Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Integrated Development Environments (IDEs)  Ability to migrate Oracle Forms and Reports to web-based, database independent applications.  Confer with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.  Consult with customer to develop requirements for and maintenance of application software  Designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining web-based application systems.  Determining user needs by analyzing technical requirements.  Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.  Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.  Identifying problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction.  Knowledge about multiple commonly-used web developing (e.g., HTML, DISCOVER, JASPER, Java, JavaScript, PHP, CSS, JSP, ASP.Net, C#, .NET, Python, AJAX) is necessary.  Maintaining an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.  Make recommendations to improve business process operations as appropriate  Manage programming tasks for new development or maintenance of existing applications.  Perform code review with IT team members to develop quality and procedural processes  Researches technical problems and suggests improvements for web applications.  Analyzes and integrates new web products\\technologies with existing web applications to improve the web design and application functionality.  Troubleshoot and investigate production issues in applications  Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, etc  Utilize an agile methodology for all development efforts to ensure the customer remains fully engaged Required Skills: * Programming Languages (latest versions) o Java, ASP .NET, ColdFusion, PHP, JavaScript * Web and Application Servers (latest versions) o Apache Tomcat, Microsoft IIS, ColdFusion Job Type: Full-time Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Referral program * Relocation assistance * Tuition reimbursement * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Holidays * Monday to Friday * No weekends Ability to commute/relocate: * Frederick, MD 21702: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: * Front-end development: 3 years (Required) License/Certification: * CompTIA Security+ (Required) Security clearance: * Secret (Required) Work Location: In person
