Temporary Legal Administrative Assistant - 12 - 14 weeks

MCV Law is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to provide fulltime, temporary coverage in its Chittenango Office during a planned leave. This role provides critical administrative and document support to our attorneys and paralegals.Position Details: Duration: April – July 31, exact dates to be determinedSchedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Part- time requests will be considered.Location: On-site in the Chittenango OfficeResponsibilities include:Administrative Tasks: Manage attorney calendars, process incoming mail, prepare letters, and assist with billing entries.Document Support: Assist in drafting and finalizing estate planning documents, including Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Health Care Proxies.Case Management: Open, organize, and maintain both physical and digital client files.Client Coordination: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, scheduling signing appointments, and gathering necessary information.Qualifications:Experience: Prior experience in a law firm setting, specifically in estate planning or probate, is strongly preferred.Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail are required.Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with case management software is a plus.Professionalism: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and external institutions.Compensation:Competitive Hourly Compensation, Dependent On Experience.(This is a temporary position; benefit eligibility will reflect the limited duration of the assignment.)Why MCV Law:MCV Law offers a collegial, professional environment where teamwork, integrity, and client service are highly valued.
