Customer Support Specialist

Job title : Complaints Coordinator Job location :New York, NY 10004 Shift : Hybrid 9-5 Date Range:03/30/2026 - 05/23/2026, Possible Extension Pay : $19- $20/hr without benefitsEducation: High School Diploma/ GEDSkills: AssistComplaints Team leaderwithMACESS documentation inquiries/complaints . Assist specialists withescalated issues(transportation requests, specialty appointments). Support management withspecial projects(PCP monthly projects, MIS assignments, PCP error reports). Record and respond to customer contactsand update thetracking systemwith follow-up and closure. Providemember orientations(on-site and telephone). Process and resolve complaintsand update information in the system. Assist withPCP selection/assignmentandmember demographic updates . Providebenefit/service informationto members, prospective members, and providers. Performretention efforts , handleMedicare overflow calls , and supportoutreach projects . Handleroster, disenrollment, provider, and claim billing inquiries . Schedule marketing appointmentsfor prospective enrollees. Skills:Customer Focus, Functional/Technical Skills, Written/Oral Communication, Integrity and Trust . 1 year experience in Managed Care/call centerhandling high-volume calls.Duties: Providecustomer service to members, providers, and prospective members . Document all customer contactsinto the tracking system. Process complaintsand assist supervisory staff withcomplaints review . Handle escalated issuesand assist the management team withspecialty projects . Provideadministrative support to the Fair Hearings and Complaints Team . Data entry and intake of complaint and fair hearing casesinto designated tools. Retrieve documents from various systemsto demonstrate compliance with state directives. Collaborate with business partnersto gather documentation for responses to state agencies related to complaints and fair hearing requests.
