This is a player/coach role responsible for owning our end-to-end field marketing engine while directly managing a team of two field marketers.You will oversee the execution of 12+ tradeshows and hundreds of field and partner events annually, driving pipeline, revenue influence, and market presence. This role requires strong operational rigor, cross-functional alignment, and a passion for measurable impact.If you thrive in high-volume execution environments, love building scalable processes, and bring a sharp analytical mindset to marketing performance — this role is for you.In this role, you will also be responsible to:Strategy & OwnershipOwn the global field marketing and tradeshow strategy aligned to revenue targetsBuild annual and quarterly event plans across tradeshows, hosted events, third-party conferences, partner events, and executive programsPartner closely with Sales leadership to align event investments to territory and account prioritiesDevelop scalable playbooks for event planning, activation, and follow-upExecution & Leadership (Player/Coach)Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 2 field marketing professionalsPersonally manage high-impact tier-1 tradeshows and strategic eventsOversee execution of 12+ major tradeshows annuallyDrive execution of hundreds of field and partner events per yearEnsure seamless coordination across Marketing, Sales, SDRs, Customer Success, and PartnersOperational ExcellenceBuild and manage event budgets with strong ROI disciplineCreate standardized processes for planning, tracking, and post-event follow-upImplement scalable systems for registration tracking, lead capture, routing, and SLA enforcementDrive pre-event enablement and post-event follow-up rigor across Sales teamsData & Performance ManagementDefine and track KPIs including:Pipeline generated and influencedRevenue attributionCost per opportunityEvent ROIMeeting conversion ratesDeliver executive-level reporting and insightsContinuously optimize channel mix based on performance dataLeverage marketing automation and CRM systems to measure impactRequirementsQualifications / Experience / Technical Skills8+ years of B2B marketing experience, with 4+ years in field marketing or event marketingExperience owning and executing large-scale tradeshows and high-volume field programsDemonstrated success driving pipeline and revenue through event programsExperience managing budgets and forecasting ROIProven people manager with experience leading and developing direct reportsExperience in high-growth B2B SaaS environmentsFamiliarity with Salesforce and marketing automation platformsSoft Skills / Personal CharacteristicsStrong analytical and operational mindset — comfortable working in CRM and marketing automation systemsAbility to operate both strategically and tacticallyExceptional cross-functional collaboration skillsHighly organized with strong project management capabilitiesStrong executive presence and comfort presenting performance metrics to leadershipPassion for process improvement and scalable systemsFor candidates based in California, the expected salary range for this role is $150,000–$180,000+ bonus.
