A dedicated Early Childhood Special Education Teacher is sought for a full-time, contract position in Benton, LA, serving elementary-aged students. This role involves itinerant service, traveling between 3 to 4 school sites to provide specialized instruction tailored for 3- to 4-year-old students in their homeschool sites, daycares, or Head Start centers.Key Responsibilities:Deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and instructional strategies in alignment with state and local curricula to address diverse learning needs.Ensure full compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) by leading meetings and conducting thorough progress monitoring of student goals.Organize mobile learning environments effectively, utilizing technology to promote student engagement and academic growth.Maintain accurate electronic records, submit timely progress reports, and collaborate closely with parents and community partners to support student success.Qualifications and Experience:Valid Early Childhood Special Education Teaching Certification is required.Experience working with young learners in special education settings.Strong skills in managing itinerant workloads and adapting teaching methods across different locations.Proficient in using technology and digital tools to enhance instruction and documentation.Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration with families and educational partners.This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on early childhood learners by fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
