Neuro ICU Registered NurseThe Neuro ICU Registered Nurse provides specialized care to critically ill patients suffering from neurological conditions, including stroke and neurosurgical procedures. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to handle complex situations effectively.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and assess patients with neurological conditions, including acute stroke and post-operative care.Manage invasive monitoring devices including External Ventricular Drains (EVD) and Intracranial Pressure (ICP) monitoring.Administer CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) and other advanced medical interventions.Provide post-procedure care for neuro-endovascular surgeries, including carotid stenting and embolization procedures.Ensure accurate and timely documentation utilizing the Epic charting system.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.ScheduleThis position requires a night shift schedule consisting of 3x12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15, with flexibility to rotate days/nights as needed. Weekends and holidays may also be required.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMinimum of 2 years of experience in a Neuro ICU setting.Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.Epic charting experience is strongly preferred.Ability to manage patients with complex neurological issues and critical conditions.Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
