Senior / Principal Streaming Engineer (Python) — Remote

👉 This role is NOT a typical backend position👉 This is a data streaming & real-time processing role at scale🥇 What We’re REALLY Looking For (Must-Have — Track A)You must have strong experience in real-time data streaming systems, including:Kafka and/or similar streaming systemsStream processing frameworks:Flink / Kafka Streams / Spark Streaming / PyFlinkDesigning real-time pipelines (not just messaging systems)Stateful processing (windows, aggregation, checkpointing)Handling high-throughput, low-latency systemsExperience with event time, ordering, and consistency challenges👉 You think in data pipelines and streaming architectures, not just APIs⚙️ Production Ownership (Required)Experience delivering production-grade systems end-to-endKubernetes / containerized environmentsCI/CD pipelinesObservability (metrics, logs, tracing — e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)Strong ownership mindset (Build it & Run it)🧠 Nice to Have (Track B — Optional)Backend engineering experience (Python preferred)API / microservices developmentKafka producer/consumer patternsMongoDB or similar databases👉 These are not required, but a strong plus💡 What Makes This Role UniqueYou will build behavioral intelligence systems at scaleDetect non-obvious patterns in adversarial environmentsWork at the intersection of streaming systems + AI + game logic🎯 Ideal CandidateStrong in streaming systems (Track A)Bonus if also strong in backend systems (Track B)Hands-on engineer (not just architecture)Comfortable working in high-scale, distributed environments
