Retail Merchandiser

This is a project based position at $40 per store. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Retail Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics. Duties - Implement planograms to ensure proper product placement and displays - Monitor sales trends and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly - Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with inventory control - Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems and handle cash register transactions - Stock shelves and ensure products are well-presented - Manage inventory effectively to prevent overstock or stockouts - Follow schematics and guidelines for product placement - Utilize Adobe software for creating visual merchandising materials Experience Required: - Experience in retail merchandising or a related field - Proficiency in time management to meet deadlines - Strong understanding of inventory management principles Nice-to-have: - Familiarity with Adobe software for graphic design purposes Job Type: Contract Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week Schedule: Choose your own hours Ability to Relocate: Albany, OR: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
