Director of Finance (Non-profit or CPA required) up to $150,000 (3 days REMOTE, Coral Gables)

We are looking for an experienced Director of Finance to support a non-profit and recreational area for the community in Miami, Florida. This position combines technical accounting and day to day financial operations, including budgeting, monitoring of capital improvements, and grant oversight. Supervises and mentors a small team, works closely with and reports to the CFO and provides presentations to the Board.Manages day-to-day finance including review and oversight of AP, AR, allocations and chart of accounts, reconciliations, adjustment entries and other financials from various departments such as Capital improvements, Grants, Budgeting and Payroll to ensure accuracy of financial reportingPerforms bank reconciliations, financial statements preparation and month end closeMonitors expenses, ensures procurement contracts align with payments and termsMonitors adherence from grants, in-kind and other donationsLeads business plan for raising funds and donations for capital improvementsMonthly operating budgets and forecastingRevenue reporting for recreational areasOversight of Budget Analyst working with Capital Improvements for threshold monitoring of cashflow, variances and budget vs actualsPrepares complex reporting of financial standings and outlook to the Board and Investment CommitteePrepares Fiscal Budget and ReportEnsures compliance met for misc. annual registrationsLeads annual Audits and tax filing, providing documentation to 3rd parties
