Qualifications-Required:High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years experience in the hospitality field Excellent interpersonal skills Able to speak and understand English Displays a positive, courteous attitude towards students Exhibits a helpful, positive, and friendly attitude towards all associates Is clean, well groomed, and wears proper attire at all times Demonstrated excellent work ethic and attendance Ability to pass the Criminal History Review Ability to pass the Sexual Misconduct Child Abuse Disclosure Ability to Pass Pre-employment Physical ExamQualifications-Desired:Experience working in a school cafeteria Knowledge of the healthy hunger free kids act (H.H.F.K.A.) requirements Duties/Responsibilities:Reports to the Head Cook Assists in cost effective menu preparation by meeting the standards set down by the Head Cook Performs all aspects of kitchen duties as directed by the Head Cook Assists with the supervision of staff, planning, and organizing the kitchen Maintains health and safety standards in accordance with the Atlantic County Department of Health Working Conditions:School Building Kitchen Lunchroom Starting Salary $16.95/hr (base) + $1.50 hourly differential as per EHTEA Agreement Physical Requirements:Able to stand for long periods of time Able to work in a fast paced environment Able to lift 50 lbs Able to work in a warm work area Able to interact with middle school aged students Able to perform duties of a cook Direct Reports:N/A Application Procedure:Apply Online Selection Procedure:Interview Egg Harbor Township Board of Education is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer
