This position will be a full-time contract and hybrid, requiring candidates to work onsite in the Trenton, NJ office three days per week.What You’ll DoRefactor and modernize legacy Java-based applications into scalable, maintainable Spring Boot microservicesDesign, develop, and maintain responsive user interfaces using React, JavaScript, CSS, and BootstrapDevelop and consume secure RESTful APIs to support enterprise application integrationsAnalyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that align with standards and best practicesDesign, optimize, and maintain relational database structures, with a strong focus on Oracle database performance and SQL optimizationPerform unit, integration, and component testing using JUnit, Mockito, and React Testing LibraryTroubleshoot application issues and provide production support for enterprise systemsImplement software builds, deployments, and release management through CI/CD pipelinesCollaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and development teams throughout the software development lifecycleEnforce coding standards, development best practices, and application security requirementsSupport application enhancements, bug fixes, and ongoing modernization initiativesParticipate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and knowledge-sharing activitiesWhat You’ll Need Required:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field10+ years of experience with Java development (Core Java and modern Java frameworks)7+ years of experience with system refactoring and monolithic application modernization7+ years of experience with Spring Framework technologies including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate7+ years of experience working with relational databases and data analysis5+ years of experience developing applications with JavaScript and React5+ years of experience with CSS and Bootstrap5+ years of experience designing and developing RESTful APIs5+ years of experience performing developer-level testing using JUnit, Mockito, and React Testing Library5+ years of experience with software deployment processes and CI/CD toolingStrong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologiesExperience supporting enterprise-level web applications throughout the full application lifecycleAbility to work effectively in a hybrid team environmentPreferred:7+ years of Oracle Database management and SQL performance optimizationExperience with application modernization and cloud-ready architecture designExperience implementing microservices-based architecturesExperience supporting public sector or education-related enterprise applicationsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsExperience working in Agile/Scrum development environments#J-18808-Ljbffr
