Accountant

We’re working with a stable, growing organization to find a Plant Accountant who wants to be closely connected to operations and play a meaningful role in the performance of a manufacturing site. This is a highly interactive role where finance partners directly with the plant to support both daily execution and long-term planning.Why this opportunity is compelling:Direct exposure to plant leadership and operational decision-makingA hands-on role with real influence on financial and production outcomesStrong potential for career progression within a larger finance teamWhat you’ll do:Take ownership of key pieces of the month-end close, including entries, accruals, and account reconciliationsSupport budgeting and forecasting by working alongside department leaders to align financials with production goalsMonitor performance against budgets and standards, digging into variances and helping drive corrective actionsPartner with operations on inventory and cost tracking, ensuring accuracy across materials, production, and finished goodsAnalyze manufacturing results and translate data into clear insights for leadershipAssist with audit support and help maintain a strong control environmentServe as a go-to resource for plant teams on financial questions, reporting, and system-related itemsWhat they’re looking for:2-4 years of Accounting experience within a manufacturing or industrial environmentBS degree in a related fieldProficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)Supportive leadership with room to grow within the team and nationally.
