Applicants for the Vice President of Development role at the company should have a proven track record in nonprofit development, with at least 7-10 years' of experience and a strong background in team management. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree and fundraising certifications being preferred. The ideal candidate will have a metrics-driven approach, experience in capital campaign management, and a deep understanding of the full fundraising ecosystem. They must be adept at building and using KPI dashboards, and have proficiency in donor CRM platforms. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse audiences are essential, as is a genuine alignment with the organization's values and mission.
