Physical Therapist - Long Island, NY (PT-Owned Clinic) We are seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, individualized care in a supportive, moderate-volume environment. We prioritize providing individualized patient treatment over high treatment volume. We treat a diverse patient population of all ages with varying conditions including orthopedic, neurologic, post op, and amputee/limb loss rehabilitation. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose movement dysfunction and develop individualized treatment plans. Administer hands-on therapy and instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and stretches to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent further injury. Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements. Educate patients and their families on proper body mechanics, in-home treatment options, and overall wellness. Supervise PT aides in patient care activities as required. Qualifications Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in New York State. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, movement science, and evidence-based performance training. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care. Ability to work both independently and as a strong team player. New Grads welcome. Details & Benefits Salary Range: Pay commensurate with experience.
