Speech Language Pathologist Location: Summerville, SC Agency: Jackson Therapy Partners Pay: $2,332 to $2,532 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Are you a special education SLP seeking a rewarding local role or an exciting school-based contract opportunity in Summerville, SC? Join our team for a school-based assignment where you will provide direct services under supervision, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support student communication and academic success. What We're Looking For Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders required for SLP roles. For School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) openings, a B.S./B.A. in Communication Sciences/Disorders - Speech Pathology is required. Current state licensure or eligibility in South Carolina for SLPs. Relevant state authorization or eligibility for SLPAs as required by district policies. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred for supervising clinicians. Experience in K-12 school-based settings preferred. Experience conducting therapy under supervision, preparing materials, attending IEP meetings, and documenting treatment data is preferred. Ability to follow treatment plans created by a CCC-SLP and to attend meetings and print reports under supervision. Assignment Details Facility Type: School Position Type: School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 2026-2027 school year. Roles may be available full-time or part-time. Schedule: Traditional K-12 building-based schedule. Supervision: Work performed under the supervision of a CCC-SLP; participation in IEP meetings and case management meetings under supervision expected. Documentation: Record objective treatment data and subjective treatment notes; prepare materials and manage a therapy workspace. What You'll Do Provide speech and language therapy services consistent with the district and state guidelines. Follow treatment plans developed by a supervising CCC-SLP and implement individualized interventions for qualifying students. Attend IEP and case management meetings under supervision and assist with printing and preparing reports. Prepare therapy materials and manage a designated workspace within the school. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school-based professionals to support student goals. Maintain compliant documentation and accurate treatment records.
