Senior Technical Program Manager
Title and Summary Senior Technical Program Manager – Responsible for leading the planning and organization of an agile team within the Payment Enablement team.
Responsibilities Facilitates scrum ceremonies for an agile team (daily stand-up, sprint planning, sprint reviews, backlog grooming, retrospective, and demos).
Provides agile coaching, helping the team self-organize, enforce team agreements, and employ best practices and processes.
Recognizes discordant views and takes part in constructive dialogue to resolve them.
Tracks and manages manifest definitions, release integration, timing, scope, and delivery.
Provides ongoing updates (with data) on the state of delivery.
Proactively manages dependencies, ensuring all outputs are production ready at launch.
Understands the business context and the associated customer use case.
Understands the team's technologies and can evaluate system designs and architecture during solution discussions.
Improves team processes to accelerate delivery, drive innovation, lower costs, and improve quality.
Acts as the first point of contact for the team's projects.
Experienced in and understands industry technologies.
Understands their program, product, or technology domain to sufficient depth and credibility to be effective with the teams they work with.
Can competently represent the team's services to stakeholders and other teams.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
Relevant experience as a scrum master, project manager, or related field.
Experience working on enterprise-level projects and managing software projects with advanced knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership skills.
Proficient at building and maintaining strong business relationships.
Proficient with MS Office tools.
Proficient with project tracking tools such as JIRA.
Familiarity with Aha! is a plus.
