Duties Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance to detect suspicious activity or security breaches. Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to ensure authorized entry. Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies by implementing established protocols, including administering first aid or CPR when necessary. Conduct thorough inspections of personnel and property to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access. Manage conflict situations with confidence and professionalism, de-escalating disputes and maintaining order on-site. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents to ensure swift resolution and safety. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incident reports, and security checks for accountability and continuous improvement. Experience Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV operation is essential for effective monitoring. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred to respond effectively during medical emergencies. Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts calmly and professionally in high-pressure situations. Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security best practices to protect assets. Strong understanding of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and conflict management strategies. Excellent observational skills combined with the ability to communicate clearly and act decisively when needed.
