The ideal candidate will have extensive experience analyzing complex data, documenting business and technical requirements, performing source-to-target data mapping, and collaborating with business stakeholders, data engineers, and development teams. The candidate should possess excellent analytical skills and hands-on experience working with large enterprise data platforms within the Banking or Financial Services domain.Key ResponsibilitiesGather, analyze, and document business and data requirements from business stakeholders. Perform source-to-target data mapping for enterprise data migration, integration, and modernization initiatives. Analyze complex data structures and validate business rules across multiple systems. Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, validation, profiling, reconciliation, and reporting. Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Developers, QA teams, and business users to ensure accurate implementation of data requirements. Develop and maintain data mapping documents, data dictionaries, metadata, and technical specifications. Perform data quality analysis, identify data anomalies, and recommend corrective actions. Support data conversion, ETL validation, and data migration projects. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Work closely with QA teams to validate data transformations and support UAT activities. Analyze upstream and downstream system impacts for new business requirements. Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance, security, and regulatory standards. Support production issue analysis, root cause identification, and resolution. Required Skills10+ years of experience as a Data Analyst. Strong hands-on experience with Data Mapping and Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM). Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, CTEs, window functions, stored procedures, and performance tuning. Strong experience in Financial Services, Banking, Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or Wealth Management. Experience with data profiling, data validation, reconciliation, and data quality analysis. Strong understanding of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or PostgreSQL. Experience working with large enterprise data warehouses and data integration projects. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred SkillsExperience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Ab Initio, Talend, or DataStage. Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data lineage. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Knowledge of Python for data analysis is a plus. Experience using Jira and Confluence.
