We are currently sourcing for Wintel/ VMware Engineer - Remote with one of our direct clients.Job title: Wintel/ VMware Engineer (VMware/Windows experience)Location: RemoteDuration: 06 months ContractJob Description:Technical Skills:Virtualization Technologies – VMWare, vSphere, vCenterKnowledge on Hyper-V Server 2008 and Hyper-V Server 2012Basic Knowledge on storage - SAN , NAS & Backup , Network technologiesExpert knowledge on MSCS clusters with Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008 / 2012 Failover ClusteringGood working knowledge on ESXI and related cluster support and Vcentre knowledge.The candidate should have attained professional certifications in the ANY of following areasAWS/Azure/VMware/Windows ServerExtensive knowledge on the latest editions and at least 2 earlier editions of the Windows Server Operating Systems (2016 /2012/2008/2003)Experience in Windows Scripting – vbScript, PowerShell will be added advantageGood Hardware Knowledge on HP, IBM , DELL serversProficient in Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)Create and document technical Artifacts for the solution – Power Point for higher level design representation, Technical Visio Drawings, Configuration Details /Test Plans in Excel and Detailed descriptions in Microsoft Word.
