Wholesale Mortgage Closer - Remote

Position Overview 11 Mortgage strives to remain a dynamic environment given the frequent changes during the loan process. The Wholesale Closer will be instrumental in maintaining the dynamic environment and helping meet the closing date by preparing and approving the closing disclosure, preparing all closing documents and scheduling loan closings. This position coordinates with other departments to immediately remedy any issues that may exist with the file.Ideal candidates for this position will be highly detail-oriented, have excellent organizational skills, and an understanding of mortgage closing conditions.Essential Functions of the RoleReview loan files for accuracy and compliance prior to closing.Prepare and approve the Closing DisclosurePrepare all closing documents in a timely manner.Communicate with the Broker, Account Executive, and settlement agent to schedule closing date and time.Coordinate with various departments to reconcile any file defects.Calculate loan interest, principal payment, escrow fees, and closing costs prior to closing.Other duties as assigned.Classification: Full Time, Non-Exempt Essential Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesHighly detail-orientedExcellent organizational skillsProven ability to prioritize and multi-taskWorks well with little directionStrong communication skillsAbility to work across organizational boundariesUnderstanding of legal documentsKnowledge of residential closing conditionsWholesale Closer Experience RequirementsMinimum of three (3) years of mortgage closing experience required.Wholesale Closing experience required.Experience with Encompass preferred.Complete understanding of TRID guidelinesEducation / Licensing RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
