Job Title: WelderJob DescriptionAerotek is seeking a MIG welder for a facility in Salem, OR. This is a day shift position Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday work. Starting wage is 20$HR + depending on experience. Must be comfortable working outdoors and in the elements and good with quality control/inspections of own work. Duties include, but aren't limited to:Physical attendance at the worksite.Weld and fabricate equipment as needed.Repair structural members or parts using various welding techniques.Fabricate parts based on job scope or projects.Operate vehicles and equipment (e.g., forklifts).Gather and analyze information to solve problems.Inspect equipment and materials for defects.High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum 5 years welding/fabrication experience.Mechanic/shop knowledge.Hard SkillsMIGWeldingFabricationJob TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).
