In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and deploying production-grade AI agents that are integral to Sierra’s growth and client success. You will work closely with leading enterprises and innovative startups to develop scalable, reliable, and intuitive AI solutions that transform customer interactions across various industries. Your contributions will directly impact Sierra’s platform evolution, shaping the future of AI-driven customer engagement and ensuring the delivery of exceptional experiences for some of the world's most influential brands.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with experience in building and scaling end-to-end production systems. They should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and have a builder’s mindset with high agency to overcome obstacles and ship impactful solutions. Effective communication skills are essential for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including customers. A genuine enthusiasm for the Tech, Media & Telecom space and a passion for helping top brands enhance their customer loyalty are highly valued. Preferred qualifications include experience with AI/LLM systems, prior startup or founding experience, familiarity with tools such as eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and proficiency with React, TypeScript, or Go.ResponsibilitiesDesign and deliver production-grade AI agents that are high-performing, reliable, and user-friendly, directly contributing to Sierra’s revenue growth and client satisfaction.Take full ownership of the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC), from initial pilot testing to deployment and ongoing refinement, establishing best practices along the way.Collaborate with large enterprises and innovative startups to understand their unique business challenges and develop tailored AI solutions that drive operational transformation at scale.Contribute to the evolution of Sierra’s core platform by identifying unmet needs, prototyping new features, and working cross-functionally with research, product, and platform teams to shape future capabilities.Develop complex projects such as goal-oriented agents, personalization systems powered by Sierra’s Context Engine, conversational discovery agents, and troubleshooting agents for telecommunications and connected devices.Experiment with emerging voice experiences and tailor Voice Personas to align with brand identity, customer preferences, and specific use cases.BenefitsSierra offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and growth of its employees.
