Manufacturing Associate

The Processing Specialist position is responsible for accurately placing labels, book pockets and other requested material on books.Essential Functions:Execute the correct placement of labels, pockets or additional requested information on books.Maintain the ability to move fingers, hands and arms in coordinated with book placement to verify positions of labels and other requested materialsWork Hours*Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm*Mandatory Overtime (Based on work flow)Monday-Friday 5:00am-7:00amSaturday 7:00a-12:00pRequired Qualifications:At least 18 years of ageDaily reliable transportationStand in place for 120 minutes at a time.Ability to accurately read a tape measure.Physical Requirements:Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of timeLifting and exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects to and from, including overhead liftingVisual Acuity - Having close visual acuity to perform activities such as: reading and interpreting pick lists/invoicesPreferred Qualifications:Previous experience in a manufacturing factoryEducation:High School diploma or GED preferredBusiness OverviewAn industry leader, Perma-Bound Inc. is a division of Hertzberg-New Method, a family-owned business in Jacksonville, IL.
