Sensory Scientist

The responsibilities of the Sensory Scientist will include:Conduct sensory evaluations of food products to assess key attributes for New Product Development (NPD) and product excellence initiatives.Organize, train, and manage sensory panels to ensure consistent, accurate, and dependable data collection.Analyze and interpret sensory data to provide actionable insights that support product development and drive product quality improvements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams - primarily Marketing - to align sensory objectives with overall product strategy.Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance sensory evaluation methods for improved efficiency and precision.Stay current with sensory science methodologies and industry trends to continuously refine evaluation practices.Communicate sensory results to food scientists and other stakeholders to support informed decision-making.Balance sensory testing responsibilities with project management and administrative tasks.Track R&D budgets and expenses to ensure compliance with financial guidelines.Contribute to new product development efforts within assigned areas of responsibility.Assess and refine R&D administrative workflow to improve operational efficiency.Monitor industry developments and competitor activities.If you’d like to hear more about this opportunity and others we are currently working on, please contact Mike Ribando at mribando@cps4jobs.com.JO: 186.25MRSalary$75,000 - $85,000Benefits Available
