We value professionalism, kindness, and reliability, and we treat our staff with the same respect and dignity we expect for our residents.Position Overview:We are seeking a dependable, caring, and motivated Caregiver/Resident Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a slower-paced, relationship-focused environment where quality of care matters more than rushing through tasks.You will support residents with daily living needs, promote safety and comfort, and help maintain a warm, home-like atmosphere.What Makes This Role Attractive:Low-stress environment with only 6 residents.Supportive leadership that listens, trains, and invests in staff.Consistent scheduling with opportunities for additional shifts.A team that works together, not against each other.Meaningful work where you see the impact of your care every day.Growth opportunities for caregivers interested in med-tech roles or leadership.Responsibilities:Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility)Provide companionship and emotional support.Prepare simple meals and assist with feeding as needed.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.Document care notes accurately.Support residents with activities, routines, and appointments.Follow all RCFE regulations and facility policies.Communicate clearly with staff, residents, and families.Requirements:Experience in caregiving (RCFE, assisted living, home care, or similar)Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely.Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor.Ability to pass background check, TB test, and required clearances.Medication-certified caregivers are a plus (but not required)Compensation & Benefits:Competitive hourly pay (DOE)Paid training and ongoing support.Opportunities for additional shifts.Positive, respectful work environment.Meals provided during shifts.Growth pathways for long-term team members.
