You’ll be in it—executing the close, refining systems, and partnering with the shop floor to drive profit.Who You Are A high-performing leader with a manufacturing background who actually likes the work. You’ve owned the close, you understand plant operations, and you’re looking for a role where your follow-through leads directly to the CFO title.What You’ll DoExecute the Core: Lead the monthly close, financial reporting, and payroll.Bridge the Gap: Partner with senior management and supervisors to provide real financial visibility.Fix the Process: Drive improvements in ERP systems, internal controls, and workflows.Direct Growth: Act as a financial advisor to leadership on strategic decisions and scalability.What You’ll BringExperience: 5–10+ years in accounting; manufacturing background required (heavy cost accounting not necessary).Technical Chops: Strong GAAP, ERP proficiency, and advanced Excel.Accountability: Someone who communicates clearly, hits deadlines, and takes full ownership of the numbers.Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus, not a requirement.Why This RoleThe Succession Plan: This is the designated "on-deck" position for the future CFO.Top-of-Market Comp: Competitive base + bonus in a stable, privately held environment.Influence: Real ownership of the accounting function with a seat at the leadership table.
