Counter ServerOverall Responsibility: This job role is vital to the success of Planet Smoothie. The counter server ensures we have top notch guest service and that our products are served with 100% satisfaction. It is the counter server's responsibility to provide guests with prompt service, quality beverages and products. At Planet Smoothie, we want our guests to experience a friendly, upbeat, clean and comfortable atmosphere.Key Areas of Responsibility:Acts with integrity, honesty & knowledge that promotes the culture, values & mission of Planet SmoothieGuest driven: welcomes and engages with every guest who visits Planet SmoothieDelivers legendary guest service by determining the guest's needs & suggesting products to enhance service & meet or exceed sales goals.Prepares all smoothies to exact recipes and standardsFollows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all productsFollows Planet Smoothie's standards for stocking and storing of productsMaintains a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and product as neededPresents oneself as friendly and enthusiast about "Changing the way the Planet eats."Anticipates guest and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and guests for cuesMaintain a detailed knowledge of Planet Smoothie's productsDevelops rapport with loyal guests by learning their names and favorite smoothiesFollows store policies and procedures outlined by the general managerFollows the policies and procedures for handling cash and using the cash registerContributes to the store goals for increasing sales and improving profitsCreates ways for guests to interact with our product; sampling, up sale, etc.Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift teamAssists with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful coaching as needed.Contributes to positive team environment by recognizing changes in partner morale & performance & communicating them to the store managerMaintains regular and consistent attendance and punctualityQualificationsRetail or guest service experience preferredWork varied hours/days based on business needsAbility to learn quicklyAbility to carry out oral or written instructionsStrong interpersonal skills ?
