As a Budtender, you will be instrumental in creating a welcoming atmosphere, helping customers find the right products to enhance their well-being, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance based on their needs and preferences Educate customers on different cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories through engaging product demos Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Maintain accurate inventory levels by stocking shelves, merchandising products attractively, and conducting regular stock checks Upsell complementary products to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Ensure compliance with all legal regulations regarding age verification and product sales Handle customer inquiries via phone with professionalism and courtesy, providing clear information about products and store policies Experience Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially within grocery stores or specialty retail environments Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities are highly valued to serve diverse clientele Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions Experience conducting product demos or educational sessions to inform customers about product features and benefits Knowledge of merchandising techniques to create appealing displays that attract customer attention Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to build rapport and resolve issues effectively Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while promoting responsible consumption.
